What is this Paleo thing??

Paleo also known as the caveman diet is a great lifestyle for those that have food allergies of any kind. All of the recipes are all natural ingredients, things you could only hunt or grow, and they are super easy to adapt to your specific needs. Those that follow the Paleo lifestyle only eat meat, vegetables, nuts, and fruits! They do not eat flours, grains, legumes, or dairy. I know what your thinking…how in the world do they stay full? And how does any of that taste good? Well because our bodies are meant to break down natural fats, proteins, fruits, and vegetables our bodies begin to use our fat stores as energy instead of all the carbohydrates from eating foods such as breads or pastas allowing us to feel full longer, keep our energy levels high, our blood sugar levels balanced, and our bodies fined tuned for everyday tasks. You won’t even crave sweets after a few months! Don’t get me wrong i still want to indulge in chocolate chip cookie dough ( recipe to follow) and the occasional coconut ice cream but over all i don’t ever crave sweets. I eat three meals a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I hardly ever have a snack, but some days I do because I need the extra energy to get me through the day. I have seen several people from the gym I workout at ( more on that later) really excel in their physical goals as well as their health goals by changing their lifestyles. Just when you think you couldn’t get any healthier ! Haha

Eggless, dairy free, gluten free, grain free, nut free chocolate chip cookie dough
1/2 cup Grade b pure maple syrup
3/4 cup Coconut flour
1/2 cup Coconut oil
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 cup Enjoy life dairy free, nut free, gluten free chocolate chips

I mix everything together in a bowl until well combined and no clumps, then fold in the chocolate chips. Freeze the cookie dough until you want to use it. I like to just eat the dough by itself , I have never made actual cookies out of it, but if you added egg I’m sure it would work out! You can also make coconut milk ice cream and fold in the cookie dough at the end to make chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream! I’m making my mouth water just talking about it!
